PRE-KINDERGARTEN:

The Saint Mary of Mt. Carmel School has a Pre-Kindergarten program.  It is designed to encourage and enhance the “natural” hands-on learning, (also known as STREAM) building a background of experiences.  Our program prepares students for future learning by introducing and developing social skills, routines, following directions, listening.  small and large motor development and the basic foundations of our faith through prayer, caring, and kindness as modeled by their teachers and aides.

We have five sessions:

Two Day-All Day

Three Day All Day

Three Day ½ Day A.M

Five Day ½ Day A.M

Five Day All Day.  

A.M. Session is 8:00 to 11:15 A.M.—All Day Session is 8:00 A.M. to 2:25 P.M. 

 

KINDERGARTEN:

 

Our Kindergarten builds on the skills of Pre-K, honing in on individual needs, using differentiation right from the start to help each child continue to build a firm foundation educationally, socially, and morally.

The Kindergarten Program at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel School will begin their school day each morning at 8 A.M. and end the day at 2:25 P.M

BUDDIES:

Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade are introduced to students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade who have special times to interact on projects together building that sense of family in our school community
